Hi my name is Kaitlin. I am the owner of Paws at Play, LLC. I have decided to take on a new adventure and this was where the path lead. I have been a Saint Francis resident for almost 5 years now. It is a beautiful place that I love calling home. I've got a small family with my boyfriend and together we have one daughter. We also have some critters. There are 2 dogs, 7 farm cats, 2 guinea pigs and my latest obsession are my 6 goats. I love having animals as they are my passion. I am very excited to start this new adventure and hope you are too! Now that you know a little about me give me a message so I can get to know you and your furry family members!
How does pet sitting work you ask. Its very simple. You get into contact with Paws at Play and set up a meet and greet. A meet and greet allows for us to come over either to your home or a neutral area. This is so we can get to know each other as well as your pet(s). A meet and greet is also a requirement that needs to be done that way there your pets can get used to me. Once you figure out that you want Paws at Play to pet sit for you then we will get you on the schedule.
Pet sitting allows for your pets to stay in the environment that they are used to. There is no need to travel to a boarding kennel. No worries of your pet being stressed out from being in a new place with lots of new animals, smells, and people. Your pets will get individual time which means more time for play and snuggles if they allow.
You may think what kind of training is needed to be a pet sitter. Well I wanted to be extra prepared for any kind of situation. I decided to take a course of pet CPR and pet First Aid. This will allow me to help your pet get into a stable environment before heading the vets office. Rest assure I will give a call after I get your pet(s) stable to let you know what is going on. I will always keep you as the owner in the loop as to what is happening with your pet(s).
All house keys will be picked up the evening before the pet sitting services start. I must have a house key in order to get into your house to ensure your pet(s) are in good health.
Daily care for your loved pets while you're at work or away.
All dog sitting will require a minimum of a 30 minute visit whether it is for one dog or more. This will allow for food to be ate, playtime, and snuggles if the dog allows for that.
This is for at times when additional pets require more time.
All cat sitting will require a minimum of a 15 minute visit. This is to ensure that the cat can be found and is in good health.
This is to ensure that all cats are found and are in good health. As well as clean out the extra litter boxes.
All payments must be arranged before any services are provided. Please get in contact with me. Payment options as of right now are either cash or Paypal.
If a cancellation is needed it must be done 24 hours or more before the pet sitting service is to be provided. If no notice is given customer is subject to a cancellation fee in the amount that the visit would cost.
